Citrus Springs, FL – A shooting incident at an assisted living facility in Citrus Springs has left two people dead. The Citrus County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) is currently on the scene investigating the incident, which appears to be domestic in nature.
According to preliminary information, a male subject shot a female subject outside the facility before turning the firearm on himself. Both individuals were pronounced dead at the scene. The incident is not believed to pose an ongoing threat to the community.
The CCSO has stated that no further information can be released at this time as the investigation is ongoing. Additional details will be provided as they become available.
