Aggravated assault leads to shooting between two employees at California Dreaming: CPD

CHARLESTON, S.C. — An aggravated assault that led to a shooting between two employees Friday night triggered an investigation by the Charleston Police Department.

Earlier Friday evening, at California Dreaming, located at 1 Ashley Points Drive, an assault occurred leading to the shooting between the employees. The victim was transported to a local hospital with “non-life-threatening injuries,” Michael Gillooly with Charleston Police said.

Police said the scene was secure and there is no current threat to the public.
