Crash on the M27 due to flipped campervan causes delays

One driver said: “I’ve been in it for over 1hour 20 mins now.

“I’ve seen five fire engines, over 10 police and related traffic vehicles and a couple of ambulances.”

Here is the police statement in full.

A spokesman said: “We were called at 11.35am to a report of a two-vehicle road traffic collision on the M27, westbound between junctions 9 and 8.

“There are no reports of any injuries at this time. The vehicles are in the process of being recovered.”
