Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle; FACT Investigating Serious Crash in South Bend

Authorities are advising the public to avoid the area of South Bend Avenue and Twyckenham following a serious incident involving a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. The St. Joseph County Fatal Accident Crash Team (FACT) has been called in to investigate.

Currently, there is no information available regarding the victim’s status. The area is expected to remain restricted throughout the morning as the investigation proceeds.
