Torrance, 05/26/24 – A shooting has been reported at the Bowlero bowling alley on Western Avenue and 220th Street. The Torrance Police Department (PD) has requested assistance from the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD). The LAPD Harbor Division has arrived on the scene and is securing the parking lot.

Initial reports did not confirm if anyone was struck in the shooting. However, updates from the Torrance Fire Department (TFD) indicate some confusion. TFD initially stated they were leaving the scene and canceled an additional ambulance. Shortly after, a dispatch call reported a “gun shot wound” at the same location. It has now been confirmed that one victim was struck in the leg.
