Damien Johnson was found outside the M&M Mini Mart with multiple gunshot wounds

JACKSON, Miss. —

Jackson police responded to a homicide at the M&M Mini Mart at the corner of Lindsey Drive and Jayne Avenue Tuesday night.

According to Sequerna Banks, the deputy chief of major investigations at JPD, when police arrived they found the victim now identified as 43-year-old Damien Johnson outside the store with multiple gunshot wounds.

Banks said the homicide is still under investigation, if you have any information you are urged to call JPD or Crime Stoppers at 601-355-TIPS.
