The rate of spread was considered moderate before forward progress was stopped, Cal Fire said. The fire is 50% contained as of 11:30 a.m.

The Solano County Sheriff’s Office issued evacuation warnings for SOL-3052, SOL-3054, SOL-3056, SOL-3020, SOL-3060, SOL-3062 and SOL-3064. A map with labeled zones can be found on the genasys Protect website.

Evacuation orders were previously in effect for zones SOL-3052, SOL-3054, and SOL-3056 before they were downgraded to warnings. “There is an immediate threat to life,” Cal Fire said when the orders were activated. “It is a lawful order to leave now and the area is lawfully closed to public access.”

Area roads remain closed to the public, according to officials.

Two Vallejo fire engines are joining the response to the Amaral Fire, according to the Vallejo Fire Department.
